1. Our Copyright
All content published by Patinaverse LLC is protected by United States and international copyright law. Copyright registrations are filed with the United States Copyright Office for each title.
PATINAVERSE is a trademark of Human Universes LLC (USPTO Serial No. 99109176), used by Patinaverse LLC under written licence.
2. Reporting Infringement of Our Work
If you encounter unauthorized copies of our publications being distributed, please tell us at [email protected]. Our digital files carry transaction-linked identifiers, and we do pursue commercial-scale redistribution.
3. Notice and Takedown — If You Believe We Have Infringed
We respect the intellectual property rights of others. Our publications contain no third-party text, imagery, photographs, or artwork, other than brief quotations from works long in the public domain. Nonetheless, if you believe material on our Site or in our publications infringes your copyright, we will investigate promptly.
3.1 How to submit a notice
Send a written notice to our designated agent (Section 4) containing all of the following, as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf;
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (a URL or page number);
- Your contact information — address, telephone number, and email;
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
3.2 Our response
We acknowledge receipt within 2 business days, review promptly, and where a claim is substantiated, remove or disable access to the material and notify you of the action taken. Where a claim is not substantiated, we explain our reasoning in writing.
3.3 Counter-notice
If material of yours was removed and you believe it was removed in error or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3) containing your signature, identification of the removed material and its prior location, a statement under penalty of perjury of your good-faith belief that removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, your contact information, and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if outside the United States, any district in which we may be found).
3.4 Misrepresentation
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages.

5. Retraction and Correction Requests
Separate from copyright claims, if you believe a factual error appears in one of our publications, our formal Retraction & Clarification Procedure applies:

6. Repeat Infringers
We do not host user-generated content. Should that change, we will adopt and reasonably implement a policy of terminating the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
